Wind Check: The Surrendered Step
Connected Issue: Issue 06
Clarity in the Wind: When Clarity Requires Surrender
Scripture Focus
Proverbs 3:5–6, NKJV
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Clarity may show you the way, but surrender teaches you how to walk it.
This Wind Check is a reflection guide for moving from clarity to faithful action.
Use it to notice where God has already spoken, where you may still be trying to control the outcome, and what surrendered obedience could look like this week.

Reflection Questions
1. What has God already made clear to me?
Name the area where clarity has already come. It may be an instruction, correction, invitation, boundary, or next step.
Reflection Prompt:
What has God already made clear to me?
2. Where am I still trying to control the outcome?
Surrender does not mean you stop caring. It means you stop trying to carry what belongs to God.
Reflection Prompt:
Where am I still trying to control the outcome?
3. What fear, hesitation, or need for certainty may be slowing my obedience?
Sometimes the issue is not confusion. Sometimes the issue is fear dressed up as wisdom.
Reflection Prompt:
What fear, hesitation, or need for certainty may be slowing my obedience?
4. What would surrender look like in this situation?
Be practical. Surrender may look like releasing the timeline, making the call, setting the boundary, resting, waiting, or obeying without knowing every detail.
Reflection Prompt:
What would surrender look like in this situation?
5. What is one faithful step I can take this week?
Do not overcomplicate the step. Faithful action often begins with the next clear thing.
Reflection Prompt:
What is one faithful step I can take this week?
Prayer Prompt
Lord, I surrender my need to control the outcome.
Help me trust You with the step You have already made clear.

Amen.
